Resource Directory

These are just a few of the many resources available to someone interested in the Milwaukee Road but we hope to make this as comprehensive as possible, to make sure every access of information is available to our visitors.

Trail Guides

WA

Plummer, ID to Beverly, WA on the Columbia River

I can provide basic info, answer questions and would be happy to come along on various day trips or multiple day trips - it takes 5 days & 4 nights or so to mountain bike the full section. For people interested in photography there are plenty of great and spectacular opportunities along the way. And lots more. Contact: Easy email: easy1@waterplanet.ws or telephone: (509) 340-1364. The Milwaukee Public Library was designated as the official archives of the Milwaukee Road collection in 1981, when it began receiving historical materials from the railroad.

The Milwauke Road Coast Division John Crosby's photo narrative of his days as a brakeman on The Milwaukee Road, America's Resourceful Railroad.

The Milwaukee Road Historic Association members work as volunteers with the library to repair, sort and shelve the materials, add information to a searchable database, and assist in processing inquiries about the Milwaukee Road.
