Applicant's Membership Selection Form

The Milwaukee Road Trail is a membership organization. As such, it is important for members to understand its mission, their benefits, and how they drive the organization.

Mission

The Milwaukee Road Trail's Mission is three-fold:

To preserve and distribute Milwaukee Road history, including the railroad, it's communities, people affiliated to either, and all places along the Milwaukee Road.
To promote economic development of the communities along the Milwaukee Road.
To encourage and promote development of the Milwaukee Road (MR) for recreational use.

Membership Benefits

Individual Members' benefits include:

Monthly (emailed or web-based) newsletter
Access to TMRT website Members Only section, bulletin boards & communication platforms
Discounts (up to 25%) on TMRT goods and services available
Board meeting attendance, (without participation)
Voting rights in the following:: Board member nominations and elections; Board-initiated issues; Issues for Board resolution; Board meeting attendance, (without participation)

Group Members' benefits include Individual Membership benefits, with the additional benefit of:

One TMRT webpage, reflecting the member-supplied content (meeting the constraints of TMRT's mission, policies, and procedures).

Membership Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

Participate in Board Member nominations and elections
Communicate their interests to Board Members regarding:: Resolutions for policy changes.; Strategic planning considerations.; Budget formation and conditions.
