The Original Milwaukee Road Depot

I was delighted to find the original Milwaukee Road Depot still standing and being used by the local visitors bureau.

Check out the end of the lead they are resting on. Note the heavy BNSF power.

View to the east on the mainline from the crossing next to the Aberdeen depot.
The interior of the waiting room.
The interior of the old ticket office.
The family of Casey donated this organ that my wife said originally belonged to Liberace.

(I thought Casey said Ed Sullivan.)

Finally we note the paving bricks used in the platform, something we first noted at the tiny depot in La Motte, IA.
