| Our first glimpse of the Lombard bridge was breathtaking! |

| Across the canyon mouth are some striking limestone forms. |

| Dropping to the bottom of the road we come to Lombard proper. |

| We drove along the RoW to the east, over the plate girder bridge. |
 |
| There is even an interpretive sign there now! |
 |
| The site (if I remember correctly) of the old Montana Railroad “Y” and shop area to the north of the Milwaukee RoW: |
